Three Things Thursday: Controlling Your Inner Heat

Seems like all the yoga classes are hot lately due to the warm weather. Here are a few ways to conserve your energy and regulate your internal heat when it gets too hot in yoga classes.

  1. Establish a soft gaze or practice with your eyes closed.
  2. Lengthen your exhalations. Exhale twice and long as you inhale. If your inhale is a count of 4 exhale to a count of 8.
  3. Take a slower pace than usual and allow for more pauses.
