Intention for 2012

The dictionary defines intention as:
purpose or attitude toward the effect of one’s actions or conduct
.

I find that setting an intention for the year motivates and guides my decisions and actions.

A few years ago I began setting an intention for the year ahead. Last year I chose vitality. Although I didn’t quite experience the vitality I had imagined, I am in a far better place then where I was a year ago. My intention for 2012 is strength, strength of body, mind and spirit. I was inspired a few months ago by a tweet Strong is the new skinny! I am confident that striving to be stronger in all areas of my life will have a positive impact on myself and those around me.

How do I intend to do this?
Strong body:

Strong mind:

  • Continue my daily meditation
  • Be more present and practice more gratitude
  • Hire a life coach
  • Challenge myself to keep learning and growing
  • Refuse to settle for mediocrity

Strong spirit:

  • Fear less and love more
  • Take care of my relationships
  • Clear out the victims and energy vampires from my environment
  • Attend a retreat with Algonquin Medicine Man in Algonquin Park
  • Chase and create special moments
  • Trust in the process

As we enter 2012 take advantage the New Year’s magical energy of infinite possibilities. Set an intention and trust the process. Happy c0-creating!

“We don’t wait for good things to happen to us — we create them.” Algonquin Medicine Man
